She married Alexander Mair at Parish of Seafield, Banffshire, Scotland, on 21 October 1870.1,2 As of 21 October 1870, her married name was Margaret Slater Mair. The Buckie and District Directory for 1925 shows that Margaret Slater Pirie lived at 7 Patrol Place, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.3 Margaret died on 5 June 1932 at 7 Patrol Place, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.4
