     Catharine was born at Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, on 14 April 1922.1 She was the daughter of William Mair and Catharine Pirie. She married Edmund Knubley Eaves at Deptford, London, England, on 27 November 1943.1,2 As of 27 November 1943, her married name was Catharine Eaves. Catharine Mair was found on a passenger list for August 1946 of the passenger ship 'Letitia'.3 She died on 30 May 2004 at Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at age 82.1
