George Wood was baptized on 12 November 1811 at Parish of Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.1 His family was known by the tee-name of "King". He was a fisherman. He married Margaret Mair at Parish of Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland, on 1 January 1835.2,3 George died on 14 January 1858 at 208 Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland, at age 46.4 He was buried after 14 January 1858 at Cullen Old Kirkyard, Old Church Road, Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.4
