     James Wood was born on 5 October 1898.1 He was the son of John Wood and Ann Wood. His family was known by the tee-name of "Post". James Wood was a fisherman. He married Fanny Mair at 142 High Street, Elgin, Moray, Scotland, on 11 December 1924.2 The Buckie and District Directory for 1925 shows that James Wood lived at 1 Station Road, Portknockie, Banffshire, Scotland.3 James died on 6 November 1982 at Seafield Hospital, Buckie, Moray, Scotland, at age 84.4
