These are some pictures I have chosen of our holiday in Florida in December 2007.
On our first day in Florida, we went to SeaWorld. We had great fun sitting in the splash zones at the shows with Shamu the killer whale and the dolphins. This is me sitting on a sculpture of a polar bear at Wild Arctic after we had been on the Polar Express Experience. |
At Disney Magic Kingdom, I really liked the metal trees in Tomorrowland. |
At Universal Studios, they were building a new Simpsons attraction. Sometimes people say I will grow up to be a mad professor. This is me with Professor Frink from the Simpsons. |
At Disney Animal Kingdom, we each took turns to stroke a real LIVE alligator. Its scales felt a bit like plastic! |
At Disney EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow), late in the afternoon on the coldest (about 60°F) day. William and me in front of the Universe of Energy, with Spaceship Earth in the background. |
Downtown Disney: William, Dad and me at the ship's wheel as Pirates of the Caribbean. |
Big 'A' at Busch Gardens. Me standing in front of the Anhauser-Busch logo during a break from riding awesome rollercoasters. |
Universal Studios Islands of Adventure has a double rollercoaster called Duelling Dragons. The red one is called Fire and the blue one is Ice. |
We also visited the Kennedy Space Centre at Cape Canaveral. In the Apollo/Saturn V Centre you can walk around a real Saturn V, the largest rocket ever made. This is William and me in front of an Apollo Command Service Module. |
In the Rocket Garden at the Kennedy Space Centre, William and I sat in a mock-up of a Gemini space capsule. |
William, Mum and I lay on our backs in a mock-up of an Apollo space capsule. |
Honestly, my Dad ate my homework. |
Disney Blizzard Beach water park. While Dad did the Summit Plummet (at 120 feet tall it's the tallest water slide in America), William and I splashed about at the Ski Patrol Training Camp. This is me on the T-bar Drop. |
This is us one evening in front of some waterfalls at Pirate Cove mini-golf on International Drive, Orlando. |
Christmas dinner at the San Angel Inn in Mexico at Disney EPCOT. |
Back at Downtown Disney, there was a big LEGO shop with many lifesize models outside. |
