Frequently Asked Questions
So you wanna know about me and what I do? Okie dokie, your deepest wishes are granted. At least, to a certain degree anyway...
What's with your names? Why are you called the Poisonous Monkey?
I'm a fan of British comedies. I got the name from a UK sketch show called The Fast Show, which has a character called Rowley Birkin QC, who's my favourite character in the show. He's a drunk geriatric who mumbles a lot and inbetween murmurings, he speaks something clearly. In one instance, he utters "poisonous monkey", which made me crack up. So I decided to use that name as my online alias. It's approriate since my image is perceived as comical.
But what about "grippedchimp"?
If you think this name is in any relation to masturbation, then your mind is as dirty as Paris Hilton getting ass-fucked by her prize horse (no, not the dude who filmed her porno). It comes from a UK games mag called Gamesmaster, which had an old feature called Grip Chimp, which looks over different peripherals for computer and video games and suchlike. I changed the name slightly to avoid any trivial infringments (fool). I guess you could say I get inspiration from the weirdest places.
So you have a thing for monkeys, then?
Yes, 'cos they're mad, silly, scary creatures. Like me. Boo! Did I scare ya? Shit yerself? A bit popped out, dinnit?
What's the deal with the mask?
I have an inferiority complex! :P OK, I'll elaborate. It's just an alter-ego, because there's another version of me without the mask that's used somewhere else in the internet, and there's no way I'm letting people I know locally I have a tickling fetish. But what you see here is the real me, with added facewear. The first mask was like a throwback to the Mortal Kombat ninjas, and added the visor, thinking would be cool. Didn't think so later on, as I decided to switch to the Strider Hiryu-style cloth mask I wear now in my art. Besides, the mask adds enigma to my personality, no? Even if I'm a silly-ass scruffy ninja who'll end up doing himself a serious injury if he tried to do a flying somersault kick...
How comes you meet up with some really gorgeous girls?
I guess you have to be in the right places. However, I find personality equally as important as looks. A girl can be really sexy, but if she's highly-strung, boring, self-centred, etc. no go for me. The best place I've met them are at higher education establishments (like high school and university, where I met people like Kaysie), and anything involving music (like music clubs and pub gigs, where I met B and Selis). Of course, some girls you've fancied in your youth grow to become stunning young ladies (Rosa is a prime example). Overall, all the girls you see tickled in my art are beautiful, smart, cool and likeable people. I suppose that's what you look for, innit?
Do you tickle them?
Although I make friends with many people, I don't have close friends, and that's the same with the girls I know. Besides, it would be very rude to go up them and just tickle them just like that for no reason and keep on doing it. They'll be onto you, and may think you're a bit weird. I'm kinda shy, so really, I'd tickle someone I'd know more personally and "intimately". So my answer is... no. Unless it's called for.
How did you get into tickling?
It was derived from my foot fetish, and that started when I was 3 years old. A cute nursery nurse took off her shoes telling a story, and I got proper shy about it. That was my first foot fetish indication. The tickling came a bit later in my pre-teens, watching those famous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles foot tickling scenes, and over the years, I drew many barefoot girls, and occasionally some tickling art too. Over the years, the amount of tickling art I did gradually increased, until I discovered the tickling community in mid-2000, and from then on in, I drew more of those pics, and that's how I got here. I'm not only a foot man. I dig (no pun intended) armpits too, and still draw any area tickled, as long as it's clean.
So you don't draw nudes then?
I used to hate nudity, but now I don't mind it at all. It can add to the tickling experience and some spice to clips, pics and art. But for me, nudity is not needed in my art. With the themes I deal with, it can still be highly erotic when the people in question are fully clothed (bar shoes and socks and key areas of ticklish flesh of course). Ever seen the Last Laugh tickling videos? The tickling's sensual and there's no flashes of tits, ass or muff anywhere. However, it's not out of the question yet. I've drawn Violet in a nigh-on nude outfit.
Why don't you draw celebrities often?
Because I'm not into the celebrity culture and infatuation thing as much as other people. It must be down to my grounded personality. With me being British, I have no knowledge about small-screen American celebs (Kelly Ripa is a frequent request, and I have no clue as to who she is). I'm not mad keen on drawing famous people anyway, although I dig a few celebs, and may draw them when I really feel like I'm in the mood. Besides, the girls I know personally and draw on a regular basis are beautiful enough for you, aren't they?
And how come you don't do anime much either?
My art is half-inspired by Japanese anime, the other half is influenced by Western styles. Unfortunately in the era I was born in, anime and manga in the UK was scarce and had a cult, underground following, and only got a small introduction into it in my teens, and I really thought I should draw like that one day. However, I was into Hanna Barbara toons and Inspector Gadget at the time too, and over the years, it evolved into the style you recognise my art by. Besides, the only anime/manga I've ever seen properly are Akira, Fist of the North Star and the Street Fighter animated movies.
So what requests do you then?
Well if you wanna see any of my girls in a particular ticklish situation, espeically one I find real good, then it's high on my list, because I'm consistently comfortable in drawing them. Girls from fighting games I do quite a bit too, especially if they're Capcom and SNK characters. If you're a female member wanting to be drawn tickled, then I'll try my best to draw you tickled, as long as you don't ask too much. I can draw other real-life girls on request, though it takes time to do that and all. But right now, I AM NOT TAKING REQUESTS
Is Selis single? I really fancy her!
Nope, sorry. She's taken. How do you expect someone like her looking that good to be single anyway?!
Are you ticklish?
Yeah, but I'm not gonna risk telling you where!
