The classic syllogism
My Connecticut lawyer friend W. David Zitzkat was for the umpteenth time arguing from some bizarre standpoint of his and attempting to claim that his case was an example of the Socratic method, which he described as the gold standard for logic that had stood for over 2000 years.
I disgreed with him and told him that his claims make as much sense as this well known syllogism:
Socrates is left-handed;
Therefore Socrates is wearing a nylon and polyester suit designed by Calvin Klein.
