IPH (2008-03-23)
This isn’t here solely out of egotism. I’ve had a website for over a decade already (since 1996 or so) and it’s here because people may like to know, if they are interested in my paintings or my writings.

I am now, by occupation, an artist, but I was formerly an IT professional — until a slump meant I had effectively retired — and I have been making abstract paintings since 2003.

I lived alone most of my life, though I was married for a while in the 1990s.

I have a wide range of interests and hobbies, almost all of which are things one does on one’s own (well, I do anyway) although some of them need an audience. (An example of that last point is creating and maintaining this website: it has little purpose unless somebody out there is going to read it some day.)

Should you want, despite not knowing me and my coordinates already, want to get in touch with me the first step is, of course, email. Here I need to obfuscate to limit attentions of spambots but if you are clever enough — and you need to be if I do not already know you but you want to keep my attention — you will solve the following in which the important element is my trigraph because it occurs twice separated only by the customary commercial–at and followed by the two British personal domain elements which you should be aware of already but if not the first is just me and the last is the digraph for this united kingdom, all with customary preceding dot separators. As is the e-custom here all is naturally lowercase but that is all, so you are (or should be) equipped to drop me a line if you wish.
