Opera Omnibus: The Sorceror (November 1988)

For The Sorceror (Gilbert & Sullivan) I was asked to walk on as a waiter in the major scene of the party. We had to move among the guests, who were the principals and chorus, delivering and later removing things to eat and drink (or so it appeared anyway). I recall little of the detail of that; I know we had to be in suitable costumes, though I can't remember whether this included wigs, as traditionally worn by footmen in grand households of the 19th century.
