Another successful foray to Meribel where everyone enjoyed themselves in spite of 'Biker' trying to infect us all with a deadly virus. 'Wheeze' was attracted to a strange being on the slopes and enjoyed the delights of the local Hospital for the night. Some said that she was temping to help pay for 'Chips's' excesses but she returned the following day sporting a nice black eye and demonstrated the 'dizzy blonde' syndrome for the next 24 hrs..... something to do with a cracked scull. Helen, 'Madam Snowhite's' daughter, and her young man came to visit and share our culinary delights... Pork and mash... for which the 'Chef' was given a well deserved 'down down' Nigel was upstaged by Nobby who had the impertinence to have his birthday two days before him. Everyone was sporting their digi' cameras, however, the only photo I had was from Nigel and Margaret of 'Pete the Feet' about to flash his equipment at the feast. This sparked off 'The Dragon' to conduct a survey of equipment relative to shoe sizes. It turned out that Brian Heggarty had somewhere in the region of size 14 feet, with a 'G' width fitting to boot! You don't want to hear who had the smallest feet! Chez surprised us all this year by not insulting anyone with his limerick. Geoff was inspiring everyone with his leadership and indicating that everyone should go to the right and then going completely the wrong way himself. The trouble was, I followed him on that occasion. |
