1st 1/2: In this first round of the challenge cup PR's Rob Taylor almost immediately scores after an excellent cross for the left by Rob Shepherd 0-1. PR quickly settle & begin to ask questions of the C&F defensive line. PR continue to dominate & play some excellent one touch link play. Rob S increases PR's lead after a great thru ball from Brad Thompson 0-2. C&F at last begin to play settled football but PR continue to boss the game with Brad Hook, Brad T, Rob T & Bertie Cherrison dominating the midfield. Brad H increases PR's lead to 0-3 after a sublime thru ball from Rob T & good work by Mark Cryer. Rob S makes it 0-4 from a perfect cross from the right by Mark C. C&F pull one back from a corner
HT: 1-4
2nd 1/2: C&F reduce the arrears after a period of sloppy play from PR. Andrew Morris PR's keeper pulls off an excellent save as C&F mount more pressure in the 2nd 1/2. Mark C adds a 5th goal for PR. Without matching the quality of the first half performance, PR coast to a 2-5 victory.

1st 1/2:
A warm sunny but breezy day heralds the start of the season for PR JFC U15's. Both teams struggle to settle & control the ball on a hard & bouncy pitch. PR enjoy most of the early possession without creating any clear cut chances. A series of LB corners amount to nothing but LB begin to compete more strongly. Brad Hook tests the LB keeper into a sharp hook shot. Brad H then gives PR the lead with a lobbed shot from a narrow angle 1-0. Almost immediately Jordan Arthurs scores PR's 2nd goal after a good turn & a shot from 10 yards 2-1. LB pull a goal back after the ref ignores a clear foul on the PR keeper 2-1.
HT: 2-1.
2nd 1/2:
Early in the 2nd 1/2, Brad H restores PR's 2 goal advantage with a strong shot from the right flank 3-1, after a great ball from Brad Thompson. LB reduce the arrears after a sharp shot from the edge of the area 3-2. LB apply the pressure but are unable to fashion a clear opportunity, & a great save by the debut PR keeper Andrew Morris. Shane Sandy heads in PR's 4th goal from a corner & PR take the 3 pts with a good team performance.
