The Founders of the PMS, Alfred Allen and Alfred Atkinson

I was asked whether I could provide some portraits of the PMS founders for this 125th PMS anniversary from some pixellated photos. With judicious gentle shading using fine black ink dots, I was able to reconstruct a higher contrast resolution image. The unsmiling faces probably reflect the long exposure times for photography at the time. Note that I have tried to alleviate the severity of the images for use as links below! Balsam Post cover, issue No. 41, October 1998, printd on yellow paper.
