Each month we usually have 4 walks- Please check the club programme for the start times, walk categories and other information. The walks are divided into four categories to meet the varying need of members.
Category 1 Strenuous mountain country and highest hills, sometimes including scrambling so a reasonable standard of health and fitness is required.
Category 2. Some hill and mountain Country, but less strenuous.
Category 3 Lower Hills, rolling countryside and coastal walking
Category 4 Easy walking at a leisurely pace
All walks are lead by
volunteer leaders from within the club who have planned and
reconnoitred the route before hand.
The telephone number of the leader of the day is listed on the
club programme if you require any advance detailed information
regarding the route or arrangements for the day. We meet at the
top of Prestatyn Car Park, behind Prestatyn Parish Church where
the leaders of the day will instruct drivers regarding the
location and parking arrangements for the start of the walk. Car
sharing is encouraged and the driver should be remunerated
according too the club guidelines for passenger contributions.
Throughout the year we occasionally engage coaches or mini buses in order that linear walks can be undertaken or to take us further afield. Please telephone Hugh Irving on 01745 854132 if you require any other help or information.
