www.green.glowinternet.com A site about the history of Preston's Cinemas. In the 1940's Preston boasted of 18 Cinemas in the town. Today Preston still has 18 Cinema screens but only two MULTIPLEX CINEMA.

The River Ribble- This is an excellent site about the river Ribble which runs by Preston. This link will take you to the main page about Preston. The site as some views of Preston and interesting info concerning the river from its' source in the hills to the sea.. (RECOMMENDED)

Preston College Home Page. This is where I studied Engineering and Computing but also with a link to more information about the town.

The University of Central Lancashire, which is based in the centre of Preston. This site as many pages about the University, its' courses, accommodation and how to get there. The University of Central  Lancashire is now an important feature of the town with over 15,000 students and now probably the biggest employer in the town.
