The everyday life of a cat who isn't a cat...
Katnip was created by me in 2005 to serve the purpose of making Flash cartoons with a character who was easy to animate. He's basically a box with arms and long pointy ears. Also I can't stress this enough; he doesn't act anything like a cat. He doesn't like fish or balls of yarn or even milk, so don't even think about saying "Here kitty kitty" if you don't want to make him mad! Basically think about a human who's brain is stuck inside the body of a cat. He has his own house and a job working at a factory warehouse carrying boxes and having races on forklift trucks.
I really didn't want to create just another cat character, with all the stereotypes that cat characters have, such as purring or getting chased by dogs. Its been done a thousand times and its used. So Katnip just looks like a cat, thats the only thing that relates him to them.
