Silvolf

The Lair of the Silver Wolf
Silvolf is my oldest fursona and the character I think I draw the most out of any of my characters. I created her back in 2001 and the first picture I drew of her was a very sad one. Up until Silvolf I'd tried to create many different fursonas, with AvistA, Rala and an unnamed blue anthro creature being the most memorable ones. However none of them were suitable. AvistA was a fan character from a TV show and so not original, the unnamed one had elements of another TV show in and Rala I started to hate due to the type of pictures I drew her in. Later I redesigned Rala and like her again now but thats another story. I've always loved canines and wolves so I created Silvolf. I just drew her one day and that was it. The markings on her back, the swirls, they were due to the fact I got bored when trying to give her a pattern and started just drawing swirly things, trying to make it look good and it stuck.
Later I came to discover a lot of other fellow artists on the net also have wolf fursonas and I met some new friends through our similarities. Silvolf's name is a combo of "Silver" and "Wolf".

Silvolf
The first picture of Silvolf I ever drew back in 2001. Her markings have got more swirly since then and she doesn't normally have them on her back legs, just the front. I also colour her inner ears grey now.
This was drawn in my usual media, Crayola coloured pencils.
Sad Silvolf
A 2008 redraw of the first picture I ever did of her to see how much she and my style have changed over 7 years. Her pads are now pink, not black (although they change a lot between) and her markings are better defined. Also my style is much more realistic now.
Once again in Crayolas.
A rather stylised Silvolf picture. I use it as a footer for notepaper sometimes. I especially like it, the pose works very well and I liked the style I used at the time.
These were both created with a Crayola/computer mix.

Silvagon
Silvolf also has a dragon form, Silvagon. I draw her quite a bit. However I love this form just as much as her main one. This form represents my calm and relaxed side, Silvagon is very wise and she watches over my friends when they need a guardian.

Silvolf
This is Silvolf's Daemon form (left). She has a Daemon form and a dark form, the latter is just her but evil and with her fringe going the other way, spiked up (as in, me in a bad mood!). The Daemon form is a mutated Silvolf. I wanted her to fly but instead of giving her wings I gave her strong legs so she can jump from rooftops and such, easier to draw than wings!
To the right, her Deamon form is being released.
Silvolf
Then, in 2003 I started drawing Silvolf more realistic. My art had gotten better over time and I could draw things like her paws and body shape better. So I drew up a reference sheet for her, for reference of course and those all important art trades I do with my friends. She got a summer coat around 2002 so I drew her without her ruff depending on the time of year.
An animation of Silvolf going for a run I made a couple of years back.

Silvolf Lonely

This picture of Silvolf I am very proud of. I pulled off the background and her details very well. I had been feeling very down when I drew this, due to things that had happened in my life at the time. It seems bad stuff tends to happen all at once.

More improvements artwise with this one (hence the watermark) I am really proud of this. I used the techniques I use with the Dreikons and drew Silvolf in that style. It's now officially one of my fave pictures of her I've ever drawn! I like the silver and rainbow background too.
