Free Imp Shell

THIS CAR HAS NOW GONE TO THE SCRAPPER IN THE SKY - there were no enquiries. 14/04/2005.

I was given this car out of the blue so I hurriedly conveyed it to its current, and generously loaned, barn location to stripped it down to see what parts I could use on my other Imp. I had a thought that I would eventually repair the shell, refurbish all the parts and make a good car out of it. This however I now realize is not going to happen  - I want to bring the other one up to scratch using the parts, and it is time for the red wonder to find a new home.

The front half, doors, bonnet and engine lid all appear sound and all the glass is still there. I believe it would benefit with new sills or at least some welding at the rear, and new rear arches. It is roll-able and the steering is still attached so should not be a problem getting it onto a trailer.

See what you think. It resides near Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire; I have the number plates but not sure about the registration document.
