Welcome to the web site of the Pussini Abyssinians,
the friendly home reared Abys with musical names!

Usual, Sorrel, Blue and Fawn Abys with special personalities.

All the Pussini Abyssinians descend from the super affectionate cuddly blue Aby.....

Champion Pussatilla Tarantelle

Tara
Tara (blue Abyssinian)
(Emarelle Moriarty x Ch. Emarelle Marianne)

'Tara', the Pussini foundation queen,
was born in 1989 .  Now the 'old lady' of the family she
takes life at a more leisurely pace these days but does not believe in growing old gracefully!
She is still a great character and enjoys life to the full.   I am so grateful to Bernadette Hawkings,
her breeder, for trusting me with this beautiful girl; she remains very special and has passed on
her affectionate  personality to her numerous offspring.....

   Tara's son......

Magnificat

Grand Premier Magnificat

Usual Aby
(Ch. & Pr. Jowetta Myohnie x Ch. Pussatilla Tarantelle)

Born in 1991, Magnificat was a 'poser' from the start and loves people, cuddles and just being the centre of attention!

He has had a sparkling show career, achieving both his Premier and Grand Premier titles in 3 consecutive shows.  Among several Best in Show awards he
was the overall winner at the Abyssinian Cat Association and Somali Cat Club Show in 1994.

He is best known for his fantastic temperament, wonderful rich colour and ear tufts.  But most of all just for being a great big cuddly dope!   To know him is to love him.

    Tara's grand daughter.....

Champion Pussini Tosca

(Usual aby)
(Ch. Jowetta Zippitydoodah x Ch.Pussini Amadea)

Pictured here with her daughter Fawntasia, Tosca loved producing her many beautiful babies, including the only Pussini fawn abyssinians and Solo the 'super stud'.  She now enjoys keeping them all in order but most of all, she enjoys food!

Fawntasia

Premier Pussini Fawntasia

Fawn Aby
(Ch.& Pr. Charriet Copernicus x Ch. Pussini Tosca)

Very pretty with a friendly but gentle personality, Fawntasia was the first Pussini fawn Aby.  She became the first ever female fawn Abyssinian to gain a Premier title but now enjoys a quiet life at home, purring and just looking pretty!

Rosie

Champion Pussini Cimarosa

Sorrel Aby
(Annera Sugarfoot Stomp x Pr. Pussini Fawntasia)

My 'golden girl', Rosie was born in 1998 and has produced a number of very friendly, elegant kittens of great character, latterly with Solo.  Her extrovert, confident personality shines as brightly as her beautiful golden coat!

four of her boisterous kittens, Elgar,

Now neutered, Rosie enjoys sharing her time between Solo, the hearth rug and playing with her last baby, Amazing Grace.

Gloria

Pussini Gloria

Blue Aby, born 2001

Gloria is Rosie's daughter by Gr. Ch. & Int Ch. Mikkar Jamboree, who sadly passed away recently.  (My condolences to his bereaved owner Isobel Hansel with my thanks for my beautiful girl).

A champion head butter, this chatty little character is enjoying producing lovely kittens with Solo.

   Gloria and Solo's daughter...

Pussini Vivace

Usual aby girl born in 2002, Vivace is the youngest
of the girls with a shy, quiet nature.   She gained a champion certificate at her first adult show but is not impressed with all the fuss!

She enjoyed bringing up her first litter of kittens
in 2004.

Please see KITTENS for her babies.

 Champion Pussini Solo

Sorrel, born 2000
(Delaret Crusader x Ch. Pussini Tosca) - Thanks to Margaret Scott for my sexy sorrel super stud!

Solo has huge ear tufts and a big cuddly personality.  He is currently siring kittens with
Gloria and passing on his friendly, soppy temperament.

He loves kittens, his girls and cuddles with his 'mum'!

Please note that Solo is at private stud only.

                     Rosie and Solo's eccentric daughter...

Pussini Amazing Grace

This lively, Sorrel aby was born in 2004.  She is Rosie's final kitten and has her mum's extrovert personality.

Amazing Grace earned her name by miraculously surviving a series of freak accidents while still a tiny baby.  As if having to be hand fed was not enough, her eventful young life included breaking a leg at just 5 days old and concussion at 3 weeks!

Her sheer strength of character and fighting
spirit got her through with the aid of intensive nursing, inspired veterinary care and many sleepless nights with her 'mum'!
Despite being determined to use up as many
of her nine lives as possible she is now a
boisterous little purry bundle of joy who, even with her 'kinky' leg, can keep up with the maddest of Abys!

Gracie is a great character who clearly intends to enjoy life to the full and has earned a permanent place in the household simply because no-one could bear to part with her!

Fawn William
Fawn William comforts his young
niece, Rosie.  He was always a big
soft boy with a very gentle nature
and loved playing and sleeping with
kittens. He was like a big overgrown
kitten himself;  a true gentle giant.

Premier Pussini Fawn William

(Ch. Charriet Copernicus x Ch. Pussini Tosca)

20.1.97.-14.12.04.

A very sad 'goodbye' to my beautiful fawn boy
, the 'gentle giant', Fawn William.

Poor Fawn William suffered a series of urinary blockages, leaving major surgery as his best hope.   Despite a successful operation, it appears that damage to his kidneys had already been too great and he went into accute renal failure a week later.  It was with great sadness that he was put to sleep on 14th December 2004 to prevent further suffering.

He was just too young and too beautiful.

Fawn William relaxing with his best 'pal', Magnificat.
Always asleep together, they were joint masters of
relaxation.  His gentle, cuddly nature is missed by
humans and felines alike.

FW & Magnificat
            FW
                Fawn William made his mark on the show bench;
as a Fawn qualifier he helped Fawn Abyssinians
gain championship status and became one of
the                 first fawn Premiers.
He also achieved a Grand Premier certificate
and
                a reserve.

KITTENS

Although we do not have any young kittens available at the moment, this pair of beautiful young cats
are available for the right home. This sorrel brother and sister are 8 months old and would like
to stay together if at all possible.  Diva is a very sweet, affectionate girl; very pretty and friendly.
Her brother Vivo is an extremely well grown handsome chap with a quiet, gentle nature. They make
a very handsome pair and have a lot of love to give once they get to know you. They are healthy,
happy, playful young cats with loving personalities.

Diva and Vivo are both already neutered, micro chipped and vaccinated for flu/enteritis.

If you think you can offer these lovely siblings a safe loving home,
please contact me for further details.
