From the eruption of the long extinct and imaginary Hereford volcano, three men of magma were thrown together, their fate to be pure hot rock and lo, their name was Pyroclast.......

Pyroclast are:

Drums                        Paul “Jap” Jones

Brothers, Ian and Paul have played in various bands over the years but only together in one before. This was Spiny Norman, a cover/originals 4 piece band playing hefty-metal. Spiny were around for several years but never really played as many gigs as they ought to have done.

Oli also has been in loads of bands and though he’s the youngest is by far the most accomplished and experienced, having supported bands like “The Lost Prophets”. Oli and Ian were in “The Budgie Smugglers” together, a 3-piece playing similar stuff to Pyroclast but when the original drummer moved to Bristol (yeah, but no) Paul’s tub thumping talents were called upon. A couple of songs remain in the set from The Budgie Smugglers days and have taken on new life.

Several singers have tried out for the band but all have been rubbish, so duties have been shared between Ian and Oli who also thought about moving from Bass to Rhythm guitar. The fella he lined up to take over never appeared so he remains on Bass, and the elusive chap can get stuffed.
