Spring
2005
Kefir D' Angron.
Keef for short, has left, hopefully for a new career in dressage and
a little jumping. Although Keef needs no introduction on how to jump,
as he found this a source of entertainment when left to his own devices
in the paddock. On a regular basis could be found in the adjoining paddock,
and on one occasion had jumped a 5 bar gate just to prove that he could.
He has only been with us just over 3 months, and within in a week of
his arrival we took him hunting. With the impending ban looming we took
every opportunity to hunt as much as possible. Kefir became a very good
hunter in a very short time.
Lambourn Open Day. Good Friday.
David and Kate had their first visit to Lambourn with Tessa, and thoroughly
enjoyed themselves visiting all the yards. David's aim was to give every
horse in Lambourn a polo and Kate would have brought more home than
we could have possibly coped with.
The afternoons entertainment was fun, and the day was topped off with
meeting the lovely Elaine and Stan Mellor and their family next to the
main arena, for cappuccino's and chocolate cookies. A smashing way to
end a great day out.
We purchased another limited edition signed print of Best Mate, larger
than last years, which we raffled again at Cotley Hunt's Point to Point.
A big thank you to Sue Livinstone for having it in the Cotley Inn in
the weeks leading up to the P to P and raising a good chunk of the profit.
Total raised £432.00 the print was won by a Mrs Reed from Honiton.
And thank you also to Neil Randsford and Cotley Hunt for allowing us
to do this fund raiser.
