Taking her fill of water, rather too much, from
Whitmore troughs, is a Royal Scot class locomotive. I remember she was going
well, with a big load on her tail. I returned to Jack in the box (get it?)
immediately, and said to him: "What was that?" He said it was a Llandudno
- Euston relief. Being a relief train explains why it was on the slow
line.
