Coronation class Nº 46256, "Sir William A Stanier FRS", approaches Whitmore's Down Fast home signal. Before I started to visit the box at Whitmore, I used to spend many hours here train spotting. There appears to be some wagons in the down refuge siding. Sometimes a freight would be shunted into the siding perhaps if Basford Hall Yard at Crewe was rather full.
