Royal Scot class 46166 “London Rifle Brigade” on the Up Slow passing Madeley signalbox. The note on the back of the photo reads "46166 on Crewe – London train at Madeley, November 1956". Note the man standing on the walkway round the signalbox. He evidently took the photo of 46236 on the Royal Scot. (See next photo)
