Standon Bridge box. I only went in this box once, with relief signalman Peter Adams, I think. When Stableford was closed (which could be after 4pm if Percy Hall was the only man on that day, working his 8am-4pm shift), the block section south from Whitmore extended to Standon Bridge. It was good to go in Standon Bridge 'box if only to see and hear where my bell codes went on such occasions. The box was tall for the signalman to see over the bridge in Standon Bridge.
