Badnall Wharf. Photographer unknown, although the signalman leaning through the window is Peter Adams. Peter still lives just up the road from Badnall Wharf, and runs a successful business selling plants, fruit, flowers etc. This box, next one south from Standon Bridge, was enlarged to serve the Royal Ordinance Factory at Swinnerton. There was a 100 lever frame, although at the time of my few visits about half were spare. The box was unusual (to me) in that the lever frame and the instrument shelf were at the back, giving a better view of the trains.
