First ever trip over the water and first time in an aeroplane, went for the wedding of French friends, Christophe and Marie Elaine.

Flew from Lid to Beauvais and stayed with their family in their town house in Paris.

36 hour coach ride to get there.

First family trip abroad, we had the kids & my Mam & Dad with us, It was about £50/couple with free child place each. The accommodation was in caravans on a very large coastal campsite, apartment and hotel complex.

No real beach mainly rocks and pebbles but it was a fantastic Holiday.

Liked it so much we went back but this time we flew from Newcastle.

No caravan this year but in apartments and much closer to the nightlife.

During the two weeks there, we met up with friends Dave, Care, baby Jamie, Norman and Sue staying in a hotel and later Mick and Bren arrived on the coach, as we had last year.

Two centre holiday, we flew in to Ljubljana then went by coach to Umag on the coast, where we stayed the first week in a village apartment.  As well as Me, Dot, Ralph and Nicole we had Ralph's friend Steve with us.

Week two we went by coach from Umag to Bled in the Mountains, staying in a village apartment again (big as our house), very nice.

Very beautiful place and plenty to do, Lake very very cold.

Our first time in Spain,

Travelled by coach with Zebra Holidays, It was a reasonably cheep last minuet booking.

There were quite a few of us, Me, Dot, Ralph, Nicole, Ralph's girlfriend Sarah, Nicole's friend Bell, Mick, Bren and baby Josh.

Mick had a video camera with him, first time we had had one on holiday.

Went on the train for a day out, walked for miles.

Port Grimaud is a purpose built marina, made to look old and resembling Venice.

In mobile homes on the Les Prairies de la Mer a large coastal campsite, just outside Port Grimaud.

Liked it so much we went back but this time, with Mick, Bren and family and Nicole with friend Emma.

Purpose built holiday resort outside the main towns. Good beaches.

Our fist three week holiday. spent one week chilling on the resort and two week exploring.

First holiday for us with the lads from work no kids with us but plenty with them.

Ice Hockey tournament with Ralph and the Cleveland Comets, slept on the bus and ferry.

No beach near the hotel.

Good beaches and plenty of holiday resort things to do.

Back on the bus in apartments, Ralph and his friend this time & Mick & his lot. Also met up with Mick's friends.

Was a party town when we were there, some sort of festival was on.

Ice Hockey tournament with Ralph and the Cleveland Comets. In holtel.

Very busy or very quiet, you choose.  We had about half and half.  Good beaches.

Second time with the lads from work, only many more this time.  In small hotel.

Spain / Mallorca, Puerto Pollensa

Lovely quiet part of Mallorca. Good beaches.

Just the two of us first time since Bulgaria. In a place like faulty towers (I liked it).

On the bus, would not recommend Alcudia.

Organised bus trip to the market, badly organised it was closed.

Good beaches, bit windy. Rhodes town very nice but busy.

First all inclusive hotel, just the two of us.  Did not eat or drink too much (on the morning)

First long haul holiday, 25th anniversary, second all inclusive, with friends Dave and Anglia.  So many cocktails.

All you get is a day out in the city so you have to make the most of it, we did.

Mini break with friends Trevor and Pat, accommodation was cabins on the boat.

Quit a party town with a main shopping entertainment complex. Good beaches.

Back with Mick and family, only flying for a change.  In different hotels.

With Trevor and Pat for a long weekend but flying this time, buy one get one free flights.  Hotel fairly central.

Very big place, you need a car.

Conference from work that was cancelled but we went anyway. Hotel on International Drive.

Hire car, lot further than it looks but well worth it.

Good beach, never seen sand so white almost blindingly white.

Works visit for me to Plant in Pensacola.  We flew from  Orlando. Suite on beach at Gulf Breeze.

Yet another a party town (well it was, get well soon New Orleans). River trip on a paddle steamer.

Drove from Pensacola, hotel in the French quarter, met up with friends CL & Ruth from Baton Rouge for night out

Beaches a bit pebbly.  Very friendly place.

With Nicole and Tim for their wedding, first civil wedding ever in Hanioti and it was in English.  In nice hotel on the edge of town.

Very pretty town, campsite is behind the town but not that far from the good beach.

Back on the bus and back with Mick & co. in a caravan.

Walked along the coast.

Good beach, a bit gritty though. Lot and lots of bars. Good cheap excursions.

Ferry from Bodrum in Turkey for a day out, first time on a hydrofoil.

Amoudi very small and quiet but nice. Good beach.

Greece with Nicole & Tim again, Nicole announced she was pregnant this time.  In a small hotel.

Nusa Dua is where all the posh resorts are, we were next to them. Good beach.

Longest haul we have done, 30th anniversary. All inclusive hotel. First time the culture has been so different.

Good beaches, every other bar is an Irish bar.

Just us, very large hotel, not to our liking.  Made some Irish friends.

For Dot's 50th, temp never got above freezing, really enjoyed the whole thing.

Booked hotel on the net, fairly central and good for hat we paid.
