Rear axle removed ready for stripdown, clean and paint. Notice the brake calliper only using about a third of the disc area. Upon disassemble i also found a seized wheel bearing on the stub axle. I spent hours trying to remove the hub from the axle, only to be made to look like an idiot when Paul (trusty helper on this project) turned up and removed it with one clout from the hammer. Thanks Paul.

Front axle just been cleaned, whoop's looks like I've killed the grass!

Axles had been cleaned and painted with black hammerite. Both axles have been stripped down and new bearings and seals installed together with new brake discs. Once the bodywork is complete i shall be installing extended axle breathers. At the moment i am overhauling the brake callipers.

This is the rear brake pipe/hose bracket that i have made due to the bodylift. Still cannot find the dam rear brake pipe, looks like i'll have to have one made up.
