R&D / Design Services

RBC have a full manufacturing plant for populating printed circuit boards including an Axial Inserter for automated population of components and a wave flow solder machine for high volume soldering. Using our trained workforce we can offer both electronic and mechanical assembly processes.

If you have a product in its early stage of concept or design RBC have a team of engineers that can assist in designing or productionalising the product to the point where it is ready for manufacture. Our design services include product design, PCB design, 3D modeling, prototyping and small batch production for proofing / testing.

Therefore, we can supply a full turnkey operation and manufacture products from beginning to delivery, or any part thereof.

We have a separate lead free production line which enables us to manufacture RoHS compliant products.

RBC also have skilled electrical wire persons who specialise in manufacturing cable assemblies, looms and wiring electrical panels on a 1 off or mass production basis.

Past and present contracts include work for Baldwin & Francis, Brush Traction, Pirelli GRG, Marconi Security Systems, Bass Leisure, Nightsearcher, Status Alarms, Rolls Royce Clayton and Cooper Bussman. 

CE / other approvals are currently a necessity for many products and RBC can assist in the process of obtaining approvals by supplying technical support, generating relevant documents and even submitting to test houses.

Whilst we test or inspect any product we manufacture we can also design and build bespoke test equipment and develop test / inspection procedures.

RBC also have experience in industrial equipment and control panels. Whether a 1off or small quantity RBC Industrial can design, manufacture and install the complete product.
