STROKE AWARENESS PROGRAMME

For the last three years Ribblesdale and Clitheroe Rotary clubs have been running
a Stroke Awareness Day in early April.
The public has received this very well with the three groups doing blood pressure checks
continually throughout the day. These have uncovered many cases where problems have been
detected and a need for further checks has been recommended.
This must be another worth while project if it makes people aware of their health and saves lives.
Rotary must keep up this initiative and help the local community to be aware of personal health issues.
