We operate from the UK and were formed with roots firmly placed in the desire to pass on the experience, knowledge and love of outdoor life. I guess we are not interested in just providing certificated courses - we want all of our students to have solid practical skills - to be able to “do the job” - all the courses are therefore intensely practical in nature.

We train new and experienced leaders, young people, (adding a spice of adventure and unpredictability that is sometimes difficult to find in today’s media based society,) and actively provide a route for all to enter a career—either professionally or as a volunteer—in the Great Outdoors.

We train Outdoor Professionals, Emergency Service Professionals, Sports and Leisure organisations - providing focused and relevant Remote First Aid Training to those who will need practical skills.

Many years practical and professional outdoor experience together with a solid Medical Training background over the past 25 years has resulted in enthusiastic, professional and entertaining Course Deliveries.

Customers include Local Authorities, LEA’s, Nuclear Power Facilities, Police, Medical Professionals, Professional Outdoor Leaders, Overseas Remote Medics.

WERS2 outdoor First Aid Training has now become the backbone of the business, and is praised for its content and practical delivery.

We are proud to be one of the few approved WERS Course delivery  organisations in South Wales.

Text Box: “Just to say thanks for a very good course - I thoroughly enjoyed it and feel much confident about dealing with first aid situations now. I thought the simulated accidents were really good, thanks in part to Kate's good acting abilities and of course the weather helped too!”
(Kate is an enthusiastic and able young lady who provides an amazing performance as a casualty in First Aid scenarios - On this particular day, the weather was horrendous with horizontal rain - marvellous fun!)
Many thanks for a very enjoyable first aid course. I found it very informative and enjoyed your delivery style which is backed up by an obvious amount of real life experiences.
“I just wanted to say a quick thanks for the weekend. It had quite a profound effect on me. I've never found a emergency aid course so engaging. I've come away from the course not simply satisfied with knowing a more than I did, but its left me with great enthusiasm to learn even more. I want to have as few gaps in my knowledge as possible. A truly inspirational weekend.”

“I look forward to finding out the dates for the level 3 in the New Year. Me and Chris both said on the way home that if we have time before our bike tour which leaves at the end of March, we may well try and come back to be casualties for one of your courses.”
“Very good weekend, better that the REC in Plas-y-Brenin, more practical.”
