The Case for Christ

It was supposed to have been withered up at last in the dry light of the Age of Reason; it was supposed to have disappeared ultimately in the earthquake of the Age of Revolution. Science explained it away; and it was still there. History disinterred it in the past; and it appeared suddenly in the future. Today it stands once more in our path; and even as we watch it, it grows.

GK Chesterton, The Everlasting Man

While Jesus is popular throughout the world and respected within every major religion very few have read and understood the life of Jesus Christ. Liberal scholars have tried to rediscover the historical Jesus, but by stripping away every supernatural event in his life they have re-created him in their own image. To identify the real Jesus we need to return to the historical books that account for his complete life and teaching to discover the facts that will lead us to the truth that Jesus Christ was God incarnate.

The Case for Christ uses a CS Lewis-style of investigation into the character of Jesus of Nazareth to underline his remarkable life and teaching that powerfully proclaim his true identity as Lord and God.

John 8:58-59 “I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.”
