A GLIMPSE INTO THE ESTATE FINANCES, 1862

The actual money received from the rents of farms etc. of late after deducting Land Tax, Income Tax, Insurance, etc. etc. appears to have been about £5,540 per annum.
It is mortgaged to the amount of £58,000 and there are Annuities etc. causing (in toto) an annual payment of £2,071. From this it seems that there is a clear £2,809 per annum and also rent for the Hall which is not included in any monies that may be received at the Courts.
