Captain Wilson returns to land

On Tuesday the 6th inst. the crew of the 'Inconstant' frigate were paid off at Woolwich, when their esteemd commander Capt. Wilson, of Redgrave, in this County, received that honest testimony of approbation for his good conduct, which naturally arises in the breasts of British Tars, who rent the air with their shouts, and embraced, or in their phrase, hugged him with an ardency that evinced the sincerest regret at separation.
From the 'BURY AND NORWICH POST', 14th September 1791.
