  Sir John Holt and his heirs, including the Wilsons, were Lords Paramount of the Hundred of Blackbourn, Suffolk.

They held the following manors:

  • Redgrave and Botesdale with Gislingham
  • Rushes with Jennies (near Gislingham)
  • Hinderclay
  • Rickinghall Inferior (alias West Hall)
  • Facon's Hall
  • FitzJohn's (in Rickinghall)
  • Heigham
  • Billingford (alias Pyrleston)
  • Thorpe Parva
  • Mellis St. John
  • Wortham Abbott's
  • Burgate

  Billingford and Thorpe Parva manors were sold to Sir Edward Mann Bart. in the late 19th century. It is not known when Heigham manor was sold.

The remainder except Redgrave, Burgate and Wortham were sold by Peter Holt-Wilson (1924- ) circa 1990.
