Victorian Evening 6 December 2006

Castle Players again supported Beaumaris' Victorian Evening:

Queen Victoria & John Brown processed at 6:30 pm and were in attendance for the turning on of the lights at 7:00 pm.

Street sellers peddled their wares throughout the town & the Snowmen under the direction of Jane danced for your entertainment.

Below is a picture of John Brown. If you have any other pictures of the evening please e mail them to me for inclusion on this page:

Plas Newydd Quiz Walk

John arranged another of his legendary Quiz walks this time in Plas Newyedd.

A great time was had by one and all.

The winners were Jane, Peter & Roger. Modesty forbids a picture as your webmaster was one of the winners. Thank goodness for Jane's knowledge of Plas Newydd and Peter's knowledge of trees. All I did was walk around agreeing with everything they told me.

Fund Raising

John & Roger raised £60 towards Castle Players Funds in January by appearing as press reporters at the Mortgage Buyers Hollywood Christmas Dinner in Beaumaris.

Our thanks go to John & Roger for their selfless dedication to the financial well being of the Castle Players.

You can tell from the photo below that it was an onerous task!
