Mar de Cristal has a lovely sandy beach with small children's play area. Safe clear shallow waters making idea for family holidays. Has a few beach bars, a couple of resturantes one with take away pizzas. Two supermarkets, with meat counters, deli counters and bakery. Internet access is available at one of the supermarkets with a small bar serving coffee and alcohol. Marina with yatch club. Tennis Courts.

 

Mar de Cristal is situated at the southern end of the Mar Menor, just a short drive from the La Manga Club, the lovely harbour/marine of Cabo de Palos and the spectacular beaches of Calblanque.

 

The Mar Menor boasts 320 days of sunshine, it has approximately 42 kilometers of beaches and can cater for almost any type of watersports, in the summer months it has an average temperature of 30 degrees.

The Mar Menor is separated from the Mediterranean by a narrow strip of land. Its waters are normally 5% degrees warmer than the Mediterranean.
