| Ridgewell Airfield - Site 14 | ||||||||||||||||||||
| As well as providing the hospital facility, site 14 was the main entrance to the airfield, it being located by the main Halstead to Haverhill road with Great Yeldham railway station about a mile distant. The site today houses memorials to both the 381st Bomb Group USAAF and 90 squadron RAF. The Ridgewell Airfield museum is also located here which is open on alternate Sundays throughout the summer | ||||||||||||||||||||
