 Recent History

     Ridgewell Airfield - Site 3
Site 3 was the heart of the airfield's accommodation areas, containing communal buildings such as the Officer's and Sergeant's mess, Dinning rooms, Church and Gymnasium. The C.O's quarters were also on this site. The location, apart from the Officer's mess area which is now the grounds of a private house, is easily accessible as it's main track is a public footpath.

The Stand-by Set House (emergency electrical generator) still appears to be in good condition...

....which can't be said for the remains of the Gymnasium.    The remains of the Sergeants Mess today             The Officers Mess
