Ridgewell Airfield - Site 4
 
Site 4 was the second of the airfield's communal sites and acted as a hub for sites 5, 6 and 11 which contained mainly sleeping accommodation. This site was never demolished and most the Nissen huts still remain today with social events occasionally taking place in the Officers Mess. Although this site provides a good insight into the airfield's accommodation layout it is, unfortunately, private property and a bit distant from the public footpath.
