9 MAY Sunday, NWP AGM, venue to be arranged Pea Restall Ceramic Sculpture Masterclass Friday 24th May 2013 10-4pm @ The Royal Cambrian Academy.
Artist Pea Restall will lead a hands-on Ceramic Masterclass workshop in creating figurative forms in clay.
We often express ourselves subconsciously through our bodies and faces, and using clay allows us to freely and intuitively create, head direct to hands.
Through experimenting with making techniques, the wonderful malleable materials of clay will enable participants to: model, alter, distort, add to, or remove elements of the human body to evolve realistic or abstracted sculptural figures or mask forms. (No previous experience required).
Cost £45 includes lunch and refreshments, (£5 additional charge if you would like work fired and returned for collection @ The Cambrian)
