European otter :

The European otter lives all around Europe. It is a carnivore. It has soft, brown fur on it's body. It is almost .75m long. It's tail is half as long as it's body. It's head is flat and broad. It has small and round ears. It can close it's ears and nostrils when it dives in the water. It has short, strong legs with webbed feet.

Loss of habitat is a threat for the European otter. It is also hunted for it's fur.
