The Deans Marine kit although described as Z37 is actually a bit of a mongrel. The kit vacuum formed funnel caps are more like a type 1936 A destroyer such as Z25 whereas the midship deckhouse deck shape is like Z38. I decided to stick with the 1936 A (mob) and scratch built the funnel tops accordingly and changed to Z38 late on in the construction.
