Grange Farm "Pick your Own"

Grange Farm P.Y.O started in 1988 with 2 acres of strawberries which was a diversification
from our arable, beef and sheep farming. It has now extended to 6 acres of strawberries with
0.5 acres of raspberries and a recent introduction of 0.5 acres of asparagus.

We offer 6 different varierties of strawberries with the early variety ready appox 10th June
with the last variety up to the third week of July. We like to offer the choice as they all do
taste slightly different!

The raspberries started with 0.25 acres which quickly doubled up to the 0.5 acres as they
proved to be very popular. They are ready for picking in early July.

From the strawberry fields you have a wonderful view of Harpole and the Nene Valley way and
makes a really enjoyable family outing with people bringing picnics to enjoy in the open
countryside.

The asparagus started in 2003 with the season starting in the middle of April until the middle
of June which is picked, graded and bunched up and sold from the farm gate. This vegetable
is quickly gaining popularity especially as an ideal starter to any meal or a common vegetable.

We are a family farm and we like to give the personal touch and welcome old and new customers.
