NOTICES The fixtures for 2012 are now on the “Fixtures” page From the League Secretary The next Rochdale Ladies’ Bowling League Delegates’ Meeting is due to take place on Wednesday, 14th March at Norden Bowling Club, starting at 7.30pm (wrongly published as 8pm) .Agenda now on “Delegates” page. Eileen Morley has informed the Commitee that she will not be seeking re-election as Treasurer at the next A.G.M. If anyone would be interested in filling the position, would they please contact Eileen. It may be a good idea if someone could ‘shadow’ her at the next Delegates’ Meeting etc. so that they may become familiar with the duties of Treasurer Teams Looking for Extra Players Rugby Road is currently seeking new players for the upcoming season. Previous Items “As you may know, Gary Buckley, the owner of Spotland Bowling Club is hoping to put a men’s bowling team into the Men’s Heywood Bowling League, which means that, as they play on Tuesday evenings, the Club will only be able to accommodate one Ladies’ Team to play on alternate weeks. The second team has had to find a new venue. They have formed a new club and will be known as ‘Castleton Ladies’. They will be playing their home matches at Castleton Bowling Club. Margaret Edmundson has asked me to thank the members of all the seven clubs who kindly offered their greens for her team’s use.” A.G.M.
