We
had our second holiday of the year in Kalkan, staying at Villa Esinti, and it
was just fantastic. The villa is so well equipped that you feel right at home,
Kalkan has a wonderful choice of excellent restaurants and bars and the beaches
are easy to access and very safe for children. The villa itself was so relaxing
that we just didnt really want to go out, and spent lots of happy days by the
pool. Our 18 month old daughter had a fabulous time, in and out of the pool, and
the enclosed garden and living area meant that we could also relax. The local
agents were incredibly helpful and very quick to respond. A wonderful holiday at
a wonderful villa.

The villa was beautiful and had
everything you could wish for. Stunning views over Kalamar Bay. Spacious - never
felt that we were on top of each other and the rooftop was a welcome retreat
from the children downstairs! The cleaner, pool guy and agents were attentive
but discreet. Villa was kept beautifully clean and the linen and towels were of
excellent quality and changed frequently. Well definitely book again.

Just a quick one to say that our holiday to Kalkan and your villa in
particular was simply amazing. We have done numerous villa holidays before and
without doubt your villa had it all. Thanks for ensuring a stress free
holiday from start to finish and I can't recommend Villa Esinti or Kalkan highly
enough.

We've had a marvellous holiday and have very much enjoyed
being at Villa Esinti, which is such a lovely house and so easy and comfortable.
Thank you very much for allowing us to be there and also for all the excellent
and efficient transfer arrangements. Metin and Paula could not have been
more helpful and we ate twice at their restaurant which was very good indeed.
All in all a most splendid holiday. Many thanks.

We had a wonderful time in Kalkan and the villa was
everything we hoped for and more, wonderful location, very spacious and well
equipped and very well cared for. Metin really took care of us and we had a
lovely evening at his restaurant on our second night. There were so many
highlights of our holiday, but the boat trip with Ali and Jimmy was everyone's
favourite day out, swimming in the crystal clear waters was a real treat and the
food was absolutely outstanding. Please pass on our sincere thanks to everyone
who made our stay so perfect. There is very little doubt that we will be
visiting Kalkan again :)

The villa was fantastic. It was so well equipped, it was just like being at
home. We took our 14 month old daughter and we could completely relax, as it was
possible to set things up so she was safe. The agents and the owners were
superbly helpful and Kalkan was a beautiful place to spend our holiday. We would
absolutely recommend this villa and would definitely go again.

We had
a great time you have a really lovely villa and we will be putting suitable
comments on the web site. Paula and Metin were great and the pool man was
superb. We will most certainly recommend your villa to our friends the
location and everything about it is great. Unfortunately we will not be going
back next year as we had already booked to go to Ibiza before we went away, but
I 'm sure we will be back in the future.

This property was
excellent. Air-con kept us cool when we needed it. Pool was kept
clean. Kitchen contained everything we wanted. Some noise from
neighbouring properties but this was one of my most relaxing holidays.

We have just come back from a thoroughly relaxing stay at Villa Esinti. The
villa is spotless and kept cool by efficient and quiet air conditioning units.
It’s my first hot holiday with no mossy bites. We spent a lot of time in the
pool and on the sun loungers which were great. The garden is kept spotless by "Takey"
- who was very discreet and extremely helpful. Paula and Metin were on hand and
all the transfers worked very smoothly. We rented a car through them at the
last minute and visited the local areas. We’d thoroughly recommend doing the
boat trips - we did one from Kalkan and one from Kas. The restaurants in Kalkan
are fantastic - my wife recommends that you starve yourself for a week before
you go. The only slight drawback is that the rooms get light in the mornings,
so it may be worth taking the airline type of blinkers if you are light
sensitive, but overall we can’t fault the villa or the destination.

We could not fault the good communications with the owners or their agents,
Metin & Paula, lovely people, very helpful, always on hand to talk to if needed,
excellent food at their restaurant too! The property was as described, it was
clean, terrific views, lovely pool, definitely a place to go if you want to
relax and recharge those batteries. On the down side, it was very hilly and you
need to be fit to cope, there are always taxis however if it gets too much. The
grocery shops also provide a free delivery service which saves you carrying the
shopping in all that lovely heat. We had a few minor problems which were dealt
with very quickly, the locals are very friendly and helpful, we would go again.

This is a great villa in a beautiful location, it’s a half hour walk to the town
but easy to get taxis, the villa is spacious and very comfortable for 6 people.
Kalkan is a lovely, largely unspoiled harbour town.

The Villa was fantastic, and very spacious. The only problem was it could be
described as too nice, having everything there you tend not to want to leave,
and do other things, especially if you are mainly a sun worshipper. The
Property was spotless when we arrived and very well stocked with crockery,
utensils etc. The pool was wonderful and kept spotless. In fact it is
difficult to find any faults with the villa itself. The views from all bedrooms
were fantastic. The only problem people may have with the location is the
hills. You do get used to them but to be honest the area would not be as nice
as it is without the hills.

The
quality of the villa was superb and it had all the facilities we needed for a
family. the children loved having their own bathrooms! The pool was just the
right size and was cleaned every day. The cleaning service was excellent and the
welcome pack of essentials including a bottle of wine was very thoughtful.
Everything about the organisation was straightforward and allowed us to have a
stress-free and thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Thank you!

We stayed at Villa Esinti in October and had a marvellous time. The villa is
everything you could wish for: spacious, light, very well furnished and
extremely comfortable. The weather was glorious and the pool and surrounding
terrace provide an excellent area for swimming and sunbathing, and we liked
having both indoor and outdoor dining tables. It was also lovely to have sun
loungers with deeper than usual mattresses. The bedrooms and bathrooms are much
roomier than we have experienced elsewhere and the fact that there was no need
to use paper bins for the toilets was most welcome! One of our favourite spots
at the villa was the fantastic roof terrace: large, good choice of seating
(including big sofas) and perfect views across the sea. The small kitchen area
at roof terrace level made it so easy to relax up there and we also found it
very convenient for making an early morning cup of tea as we were using one of
the second floor bedrooms. Your agents, Paula and Metin were excellent and their
restaurant (Zeki’s) is an absolute must for anyone visiting Kalkan. All the
staff looking after the villa were very discreet and the pool, garden and villa
were kept exceptionally clean. On the couple of occasions we chose to eat dinner
in, we found the main kitchen both easy to use and very well equipped. The peace
and quiet of the immediate area certainly helped us unwind. Kalkan old town is a
delight - picturesque and friendly with many different shops, a lovely harbour,
weekly market and, of course, all the wonderful restaurants. There are a couple
of short hilly sections on the road from the villa to the old town but it was a
very pleasant and scenic walk which we enjoyed regularly - taxis were readily
available (and reasonably priced) for those times when we felt a little lazier.
We also visited many of the local sites including: Letoon, Xanthos, Patara and
Fethiye's lovely promenade area were very interesting. We hired a car for two
days which we booked through your agents. It was delivered to and collected from
the villa, which was very convenient. We also chartered a boat and skipper
through your agents for a day cruising from Kalkan harbour around the bay and
nearby islands. The food was delicious and we had a most relaxing day out. Thank
you so very much for letting us stay at your splendid villa, which we would
highly recommend to anyone thinking of going to Kalkan. A five star holiday at a
five star villa.

I
have just about come back down to earth following our wonderful holiday in
Kalkan and thought I ought to send you a message of thanks. Everything went
according to plan and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The villa is
wonderful and extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed for a
perfect holiday. From the moment we were collected at the airport
to the moment
we were dropped off for the flight home, we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The
airport transfers were smooth and comfortable, and even included an impromptu
stop-off for "breakfast" during the in-bound journey. The villa
"did exactly what it said on the tin" and was as beautiful as the
description and photographs suggested, especially the wonderful views. The one
or two minor faults with some of the equipment were corrected very quickly and
efficiently after they were reported and caused the minimum of inconvenience.
The pool was fantastic and very welcoming bearing in mind the beautiful weather
and the scorching temperatures and was cleaned and maintained with almost
religious devotion every morning by the efficient and friendly attendant. The
peace and quiet in the vicinity of the villa was exactly what was required for
unwinding purposes and rest and recuperation. Kalkan is a lovely little village
in a perfect setting and we sampled many of the bars and restaurants during the
fortnight we were there. The local people are extremely friendly and obliging
and not in the least bit "pushy" or overbearing. Most restaurants were
very good with only one negative exception. To make up for this, however, there
was the undoubted jewel in the crown which was Zeki's, owned by your agents,
Paula and Methin. The food and service in this restaurant were simply
outstanding, so much so that we returned three times and all eight of us in the
party agreed that it was easily the best restaurant of those we had visited. The
beach club just down the road was very good too and, further afield, Patara
Beach lived up to its reputation as did Saklikent Gorge. And now to the real
high point. Your agents, Paula and Methin, are absolutely wonderful. They went
out of their way to make our holiday unforgettable and were warm, welcoming and
obliging in every possible way. My wife and I celebrated our Ruby Wedding
Anniversary while we were in Kalkan and Paula and Methin were more than happy to
conspire with the rest of our party to provide us with a surprise anniversary
celebration meal at Zeki's, complete with a special cake to provide the perfect
end to what was a wonderful occasion. We were both completely overcome by the
generosity shown by this lovely couple and all the staff at the restaurant. They
are easily the best agents of their kind that my wife and I have come across in
many years of travelling all over the world. I hope you appreciate the
invaluable service they are providing for you. Anyway, to conclude, thank you
for letting us stay in your marvellous villa which we would strongly recommend
to anybody looking for a comfortable and restful holiday in a truly splendid
location.

Just
wanted to drop you an email to say thanks for all your help with organising
things with Paula for Neil and Christine’s Ruby Wedding. We had a wonderful
holiday staying at Villa Esinti. The
villa was spectactular. The staff who maintained the villa and the pool were
friendly even though we couldn't communicate between each other!! The pool was
great. We had lots of fun in there. All sorts of races and generally having fun.
The weather was very hot so as soon as we had been anywhere it was straight into
the pool when we got back to the villa. Paula and Metin were a lovely couple and
were very helpful indeed. The boat trip that was recommended was excellent. It
was called "Anil" and it’s well worth arranging a trip out on Ali's
boat. The food that we got was absolutely gorgeous. I have never eaten as much
either!! Paula and Metin decorated Zeki's restaurant for us with things that we
had taken. Neil and Christine had a great ruby wedding celebration day. We
decorated the table for breakfast, had champagne with it. Went out on the boat
trip and then had a lovely meal at night at Zeki's. Would certainly recommend
your villa to anybody that wants to go to Kalkan. Thanks again for your help and
for letting us stay in your gorgeous villa.

We
had a great time. Very nice Villa and the service (pool and villa
cleaning, transfers, rental car and Paula and Metin) was exceptional. We
even had a gourmet meal at Zekis; and it was as good as everything else. It’s
rare when you find a villa where everything actually works and it’s clean and
the service is spot on. Keep up the good work!

Just
returned from a wonderful relaxing holiday at Villa Esinti.
Arriving quite late in the evening from Dalaman we had a very friendly
welcome from the agents and quickly settled in.
The view from the villa the next morning was stunning and so peaceful -
just a few small boats crossing the bay into Kalkan harbour.
The villa is very well equipped and has everything you would need.
Spacious living areas, lovely bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms.
The whole villa is very light and airy and well furnished.
The beds are particularly comfortable!!
The pool is great and bigger than we expected.
We found the temperature in October very good, usually 26-28 degrees.
It was our first visit to Turkey and I think we chose well, as Kalkan has
everything you would need in good restaurants, shops, food shops, lovely harbour
and pebble beach. There is a good taxi service to take you from the villa
into Kalkan if you do not want to walk, and most of them are quite cheap.
We will definitely return to this beautiful villa.

I would just like
to
say how much we all thoroughly enjoyed Villa Esinti. The villa was

they and their staff do you proud. Thank
you again for all your help, I hope we may visit again sometime in the future.

Esinti
Villa is built to a very high standard with spacious accommodation for a large
family. The views from the villa
over the bay are stunning. The pool
and the sunbeds make for excellent sunbathing and relaxing for all the family.
The staff who attend to the garden, the pool and the cleaning are all
very polite and discreet and maintain the property to a very high standard.
The lounge area and the kitchen are equipped with all the gadgets you
find in your own home, apart from a microwave which would have been handy at
times! Our children were very well
accommodated, and enjoyed the villa as much as we adults.
Guests with young children ought to be aware of the balconies and the
need to take precautions, but all doors are lockable. Though there is obviously a lot of construction taking place
in the area, this did not spoil our enjoyment of this lovely villa.
We were able to make very good use of Kalkan Beach Club which is a 5
minute walk down hill. Make use of
their free taxi ride home! Kalkan,
which is absolutely beautiful, is a good 25 minutes walk away with children and
the heat, so you would benefit from having a car, though we used taxis every
time at low cost and good service. This whole area of Turkey is wonderful and we need to return
to see more of it. The website for
the villa contains lots of good information, and you would do well to download
this before you go. I am sure that
future guests will build up a good source of tourist information to be kept in
the villa. Would we go again?
A resounding yes from all seven members of our family.

Got back yesterday from Kalkan. I felt I needed to write to say what a
super time we ALL had. The villa is lovely and the view that greeted us on
the first morning (we arrived very late at night) was breathtaking. The agents
were VERY helpful. Had some great times, Patara x 2, boat trip for the
day, canoeing down to Patara, just to name a few. Have eaten far too much!
Found the Turkish people to be very friendly and sincere. If we can commend the villa to any future potential
bookings please pass on our details. We well may go back next year.
Again many thanks.
Email from Mr T. Moors, Newcastle-under-Lyme, followed by this formal review
submitted to Villarenters:
The
villa looks stunning from the internet photos and more than matches them in real
life. The air conditioning is excellent as are the fittings throughout.
The roof
terrace provides a great place to entertain. The location is great with truly
breathtaking views. The agents in Kalkan were very helpful in all matters.
The
service of the garden and cleaning was done very efficiently and with no
intrusion to our holiday. I think it would be very hard to find a nicer villa
and all round package in this price bracket.

From start to finish, this holiday, and villa in general was simply fantastic.
We were met at the airport by a luxurious minibus for a very relaxed transfer.
When we arrived at the villa, their was a very friendly and helpful team to meet
us, and to advise us on any information we needed. Also provided was a bottle of
wine and food, which we were very grateful for! The Villa itself was faultless,
apart from thin curtains in the bedroom, so it was easy to be woken by the
glorious sunshine, which wasn't a big problem, but light sleepers may be advised
to bring a mask. The bedrooms were well kept, spacious and cool with the
welcomed air conditioning! and the bathrooms all fantastic, having 2 showers and
2 baths between the 4 bedrooms. The lounge and kitchen was lovely and modern
with ample space to cook, eat and relax! Outside on the terrace, the pool was
very refreshing and a nice size to be able to swim and cool off in, getting the
sun for the majority of the day, and late into the evening. The loungers were
very comfortable and umbrellas nice to be able to get some shade when desired.
The friendliness of all the staff, from the cleaner who came twice a week, to
the pool man and gardener who came everyday, was so nice. All the staff went
well out of their way to ensure we had all we needed at all times. We can't
express how much we enjoyed the holiday in Kalkan, although it was our third
time there, it will definitely not be the last, and we hope to stay at Villa
Esinti in the near future. Many Thanks"

We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Esinti in May this year. The Villa was
great, very comfortable and had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed
spending time with my four year old son playing in the pool (which was bigger
than we had anticipated) and then relaxing on the very comfortable sun loungers.
We loved Kalkan itself and the surrounding area and found everyone to be very
friendly. Thanks for a great holiday…. We're hoping to return next year.
