'The Rolls-Royce', made over twenty appearances for Leyton Orient and cut short a trial with Leixoes in Portugal to come to Romford. Spent most of the 1996-97 season at full-back, but moved further forward in Division One and took over the captaincy following Paul Evans' departure in October 1997, breaking the Club appearance record soon afterwards. Ended a four-month goal drought by scoring in both the Semi-Final and Final to lift the East Anglian Cup in 1997-98. Supported the front line in 1998-99 (once winning the dodgiest penalty ever by tripping over team-mate Peter Ward's foot) and hit a prolific run of goalscoring form, battling with Martin Hayes for the Club goalscoring record before joining the exodus to Bishops Stortford at the end of January. Had much success later in his career, helping Ford United into the Premier Division then doing the same with the all-singing-and-dancing Hornchurch. Ran away from the circus to return home in the summer of 2003. Return from injury in October sparked an unbeaten run that took Boro to the top of the table for two months, and finally bagged both goalscoring records in the New Year. Took a short sabbatical early in the 2004-05 season but returned to briefly reclaim the appearance record just before sustaining a hamstring injury at the end of October, which would keep him out until February. Started to pick up frequent minor injuries and retired at the end of the 2004-05 season, one game short of reclaiming the appearance record once again.
