116. Charlie GOODWIN
debut EAST HAM UNITED, Essex Senior League 28.11.95
The chairman's brother, later the chairman's son, if you know what I mean. Often got a game in friendlies and for the reserves. Was once used as third sub in a reserve match against Enfield, and manager Larry Whitmore was heard to remark that if he'd got another sub he'd have taken Charlie off again. Got a job off his dad doing the Stansted Airport run from Bishops Stortford F C's car park, and soon wrote off two cars doing so. Appeared in the England Learning Disabilities squad that won the World Cup in 2002.
