Amin LEVITT
coach June 1998 to January 1999
manager February 1999 to October 2000

Was invited to Sungate by Steve Wheeler and brought several players with him from Aveley. Took over as manager when Wheeler left for Bishops Stortford with several players, and quickly rebuilt the side with a long unbeaten run when he took over. Provided one of the comic highlights of the 1998-99 season by slipping and executing an almost-complete somersault as he kicked a replacement ball onto the field away to Wembley. Firm believer in youth and frequently promoted players from within the ranks. Took Boro to the Fourth Qualifying Round of the F A Cup in 1999. However dissatisfaction with the situation at the Club, particularly the repeated closures of Sungate, prompted him to resign in the autumn of 2000. Stayed on in a temporary capacity before being replaced by John Bennett, and applied unsuccessfully for the vacant job when the Club's suspension was lifted in the New Year. Had jobs at several clubs before settling at Aveley as assistant to Steve Moseley, the pair moving on to Chelmsford City before Levitt returned to take over fully at Aveley in 2003-04, managing them to success over Boro in the Essex Thames-side Trophy Final on 2005.
