Lyndon LYNCH
manager May 1992 to May 1995

First manager of the reformed club, had national fame as a player during Bishops Stortford's F A Cup run in 1982-83. Had previous management success with Woodford Town in the Southern League. Developed a steadily-improving squad at Romford over the course of three years, with improved league positions each season and an extraordinary F A Cup run in Boro's first season in the competition. Frustration at the lack of opportunity for further progress at Romford, and possibly increasing criticism from the terraces over selection policy, prompted him to resign and take over at Barking. Later managed the England Learning Disabilities squad to World Cup success in 2002.
