debut and first goal Southend Manor, Eastway Essex Senior League 13.9.03
Young midfielder who was the nephew of Mark Lord, and made an explosive debut with two goals in the first half, only the second player ever to score twice on his debut for Boro. Followed this with a spectacular volleyed goal at Stansted in his next game and was a revelation in central midfield. Soon caught the attention of others and moved on to St Albans City, but later rejoined Jimmy Cooper at Metropolitan Police and was next spotted at Billericay Town at the end of 2004-05. Was finally lured back to Boro for the 2006 pre-season and developed a habit of scoring from long range. Didn't quite manage to claim Boro's hundredth goal of 2006-07, although it was his shot that was deflected for the own goal that brought up the century. Had a penalty saved in the unsuccessful shoot-out against Brentwood Town in the League Cup Final.
